337. Having the entire house clean (dusted & vacuumed & de-cluttered); dishes done; laundry caught up; bird cage/fish tank/kitty litter freshly changed; trash completely emptied; a fresh shower just before climbing into fresh sheets...having all of that done all at once. It doesn't happen too often, but tonight is one of those times.

Oh my gosh, it's like I could have written this, and you're right, it happens about as often as a solar eclipse. (I noticed it tends to happen more when my husband and daughter are NOT home )337. ? Maybe, it's nicer to experience than explain though. *grin* It's named for a town in France that started interfaith services just about the end of World War II. They vary slightly in format, but most seem to occur at twilight and there is usually interspersed moments of silent meditation, formal music, and chanting. One of my favorite chants is "Where there is love, there you will find God". This chant is usually in Latin though (bear with me, spelling in English is challenge enough for me): "Ubi caritos, deus ce be est." Most chants are repeated by the group many times. I find the experience remarkably calming and relaxing: they were originally established to promote world peace I'm told. Perhaps you might find one in your community and see if you enjoy it, too.Originally posted by Cookiebaker
