    337. Having the entire house clean (dusted & vacuumed & de-cluttered); dishes done; laundry caught up; bird cage/fish tank/kitty litter freshly changed; trash completely emptied; a fresh shower just before climbing into fresh sheets...having all of that done all at once. It doesn't happen too often, but tonight is one of those times.

    338. Losing myself into a good book.

    339. Chatting with friends.

    340. Hiking in the woods.

    341. Walking through a garden.

    342. The smell of fresh ground coffee.

    343. That 'AHA!' moment during research on a project.

    344. Cuddling with my furbabies.

    345. The tranquility of a Taize service.

    346. Working together on a big project that will change people's lives.

    347. Visiting with family members.

    348. Completing a huge project that I'd been dreading. (Doing it *ick* usually, but completing it, *wow*)
I'm sometimes asked "Why do you spend so much of your time and money talking about kindness to animals when there is so much cruelty to men?" I answer: "I am working at the roots." -George T. Angell, reformer (1823-1909)

    201. See's Candy
You have a man who loves See's Candy AND kitties? You're the luckiest woman on this earth! (See's strawberry creams.......ooooooooohhhhhhhh..............)

Oh my gosh, it's like I could have written this, and you're right, it happens about as often as a solar eclipse. (I noticed it tends to happen more when my husband and daughter are NOT home )

    349. A really long, really good back scratch
    350. The sounds that mules and jackasses make (and the way they act)
    351. Severe thunderstorms, as long as no one gets hurt and I can get some good lightning pictures
    352. Everything about kitties
    353. NOT having to go to work today
    354. Car trips to fun places (mule shows, state fairs, etc.)
    355. Dr. Pepper!
The legend says that Mohammed adored cats. When one of them was sleeping on his sleeve and he had to go out, Mohammed supposedly cut off the sleeve so as not to disturb his pet.

A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast - Proverbs 12:10

How we behave toward cats here below determines our status in heaven. - Robert A. Heinlein

What greater gift than the love of a cat? ~ Charles Dickens

There is, incidently, no way of talking about cats that enables one to come off as a sane person. - Dan Greenberg

If purring could be encapsulated, it'd be the most powerful anti-depressant on the market. ~Alexis F. Hope

? Maybe, it's nicer to experience than explain though. *grin* It's named for a town in France that started interfaith services just about the end of World War II. They vary slightly in format, but most seem to occur at twilight and there is usually interspersed moments of silent meditation, formal music, and chanting. One of my favorite chants is "Where there is love, there you will find God". This chant is usually in Latin though (bear with me, spelling in English is challenge enough for me): "Ubi caritos, deus ce be est." Most chants are repeated by the group many times. I find the experience remarkably calming and relaxing: they were originally established to promote world peace I'm told. Perhaps you might find one in your community and see if you enjoy it, too.

PS. 337 is an enjoyable but EXTREMELY rare condition in my home, too.
