I HAVE HAD ENOUGH YEARS WITH CATS AND I KNOW THEY SOMETIMES JUST DO NOT FALL FOR THESE PRODUCTS ON TV WHICH WOULD REALLY DELIGHT THEM IS THEY WOULD TRY THEM. BOTH OF MY CATS SCRATCH THE RUGS APART-SO I ORDERED TWO OF THE EMERY-SCRATCHING CURVED PLATFORMS WHICH ARE ARE FOR THE CAT TO MANICURE THE CLAWS AS IT CLAWS THE SURFACE. THEY LOVE THE FEATHER TOY IT CAME WITH AND THEY ROLLED AROUND THE CATNIP THAT I USED TO COVER IT WITH TO INTICE THEM. HA HA THEY BOTH HAVE THEIR OWN, AND THE MOST THEY'LL DO IS SCRATCH LESS THAN AN INCH FROM THE BOARD. I PUT THEIR PAWS ON IT AND SHOW MY NAILS ON IT TOO-BUT THEY WILL NOT SCRATCH ON IT. They're pretty new and already the pet stores are selling them. I have no idea. Please let us know if you get one. My cats have scratching poles throughout my apartment.

WalMart has been selling these for quite some and I bought one there after seeing it on TV. My boys use it, but not exclusively. Toby likes it more than Havoc but he really prefers the cardboard scratchers anyway. Havoc will paw at it if I put the catnip on it.

These scratchers do help with the claws, but not as much as they claim. I trim my boys' nails monthly and the scratcher does keep the very tips from being pointy but the nails still grow long and require trimming. But, like I said they don't use that particular scratcher exclusively. They really like their tall posts I bought on the internet.

Have you tried a scratching post with the type of carpet they prefer? My guys like the loopy carpet, so I bought some small berber-looking kitchen rugs and attached them to an existing scratching post with some giant zip-ties. That way I can just replace the small rugs rather than the whole post when they wear it out. I rub a little catnip on it or use the spray everynow and again to keep it "fresh"

My cats prefer either Sisal rope posts or posts made with real natural bark. Not sure how difficult those may be to find in your area though.

I've seen the tv commercial for these but I've never seen them in person. If your cats like catnip them buy some catnip spray and use this on them to help entice them to use them. My cats love sisal rope or carpet to scratch on. Sometimes I still catch Sky and Ziggy trying to scratch my carpet though. I also trim my cats nails as needed. Good luck.

The Found Cats will not touch their Cat Spa at all, and only once in a while will play anymore with the Cat Roller which set me back a sawbuck.
They like their Cat Shark fro Guatemala and the Mouse that squeaks when it bounces and the AWA Mouse , but thats about it.
I will no longer try anything new, I would just as soon buy their food as I know that they will use that
Its frustrating when they walk past new things without looking once.

My mistake was buying one for myself and a friend. Her cat couldn't have cared less either! I tell you-the car shark from guatemala sounds cool-i will ask astrid if she's heard of them. I bought one of the fancy burgundy cat towers and all sammy loved was the pink octopus-looking toy attached to it! Lol he sits on the base of it now that i took it apart-but i had success with a tower i bought awhile back from walmart and it was a very low price.he and pepper really wore that out and adored climbing it. It was one of those that go to the ceiling and it often fell during the night frightening the bejeesus out of mom! (me!) i guess i will just realize i have been outnumbered here by these two and i need to be human and accept things as they are-ha ha i also like the idea of getting rug pieces like the one in this apartment. Well i know cats always know what they like and don't like-and they are way ahead of me on all of this! They adore the balls with the blinking lights and the mouse that squeaks when a paw touches it. Ha! Maybe i can use the emerycat scratchers as bookends-lol thanks again! Susanswatlin518

It was the toy that you sent last year Amigas Astrid Y Sophie from that place that gives points to shelter when you buy things there.
It was Good Times or a name like that!!
Only Tubster Panther plays all and he loves his shark and mouse My Found Cats are pretty blase when it comes to toys!!!
