    Unhappy Lost my poor kitty Chester on Saturday

    My poor baby finally succumbed to liver disease, and we had to have him put to sleep. I can't express in words how badly this breaks my heart. I have had him since he was born, and for 14 years he was the most devoted lovable kitty. He didn't scratch or bite, and was always in the mood to cuddle. I will miss his little blinky face waiting for me to walk through the door after work. I will miss him batting at me not to oversleep (and yes, to feed him) in the morning. I will miss his little personality that seemed almost human. You will never be forgotten, and I will love you always my baby.

    I am so sorry to read about the loss of your sweet Chester. He knew you loved him and cared for him like no other. May you be comforted in time with the many memories the two of you must have had in the 14 years you loved him. RIP, sweet Chester. Send your human a sign that you made it to the Bridge. Let her know you are okay.

    Chester sure did know a lot of love in those 14 years that he was you. He's still w/you except in spirit now. It's so difficult to part w/our furbabies but our lives are enriched for having had the pleasure of taking good care of them. RIP, sweet Chester and peace to your humans.

    I think thats the hardest part of losing a Pet and thats having the surviving Pets miss them.
    Theres no closure for them as there is for us, just suddenly their Friends are not there any more and they never really know where their companions are.
    I know that John Hancock never got over being the Lone Meezer.
    We are praying that Chesters brother will get over his loss and that Chester comes by and lets his Best Friend know that he is all right and An Angel.
    And that you will all be together again in Paradise.
