Question of the day January 31st!

I'm sorry I haven't made one in awhile thanks kokopup and cassiesmom for covering for me. I have just been extremely busy and losing another dog has been hectic.

Question of the day January 31st -

What would you say is your greatest accomplishment thus far in your life?

For me graduating highschool since I was teased a lot and almost didn't make it.

I pushed myself to make it though and finding the job of my dreams working with homeless animals.

Starting this site? That's a hard one ... visiting China, London, the travels we've done, marrying Paul - I don't know how to rank any of them, as one led to the next, led to the next, etc!

So far it's probably getting into UT, which is the college I've always wanted to go to.

Wow, this is hard, I feel like I haven't done anything to big or worth mentioning. I suppose getting to Junior year of high school, almost half-way as of tomorrow beginning the 3rd marking period. Maybe also being in the work force for 3 years when alot of teens my age haven't even applied for jobs yet. Also making it into the Animal and Botanical program at school, although it's not exactly what I expected - but it's okay. Having a 3.5 GPA isn't to bad either. I'm only 17, and I have pretty big dreams for the future which will most certainly be accomplished if I can help it!

I don't feel as if I have accomplished anything in my life, unless being a failure counts. That I have accomplished quite well. Haha.

Robin, please don't EVER think you're a failure. What you've gone through over the last few years has been hard, but you SURVIVED through it - that makes you anything but a failure. We love you here.

Let's see - gave birth to and raised a son.
    Survived cancer.
Surviving a battle with Depression - all those count as MAJOR accomplishments!

And, of course, raising lovely doggies, and teaching them things like manners! And meeting us all at a Findlay gathering ...

I think those are ALL accomplishments of yours worth mentioning!

Getting the master's. I was lazy and had terrible study habits in college. In grad school I was able to correct some of those mistakes, do good work, plus I made some great friends.

Getting my diploma of "Teacher for primary schools"
I had difficulties to memorise lots of things in a short time, so exams were a real torture for me! Everybody said I would never get any diploma..., but I DID IT !!!! I am not teaching anymore, but I am still proud I made it then !!

My accomplishment is coming to live at Concordia, where I can get help for my various health problems and also to meet a wealth of new friends and start a new, great phase in my life!
