    Snow is Cold....now I know !!!!

Yeah, it must be terrible to go through all of that.
Just today, after I had a bit of a surf, and lay down on my beachtowel to sunbake a bit, I thought of all of you in the USA, and in honour of you all, I treated myself to a snowcone....raspberry flavoured it was. And that snowcone was so cold....I could just imagine what you are all going through.
I guess after today, I can really relate to your situation over there.

Wom- You are funny! My neighbor and friend is also an Aussie. Love her, she is a mess!!!

I usually don't mind driving in it either, but the way they scrape the parking lots, they mound a bunch of snow in front of our cars so I first have to dig out. I wish I still had 4 wheel drive.

I always find it amazing that such tiny teeny flakes of snow beautiful and unique can accomulate so quickly and wreck havic so completly.
I am sending you warm thoughts and good wishes for a safe drive.

The sun is shining today. Ice is melting even though it isn't as warm as it was yesterday. Here are a few pictures today. I can't get the camera to capture the sparkle of the ice in the sun though.

The same berries with the sun and blue sky.

    A look down the road.

The ice looks so pretty against the blue sky.

I think this is my favorite one. It is of the farm fence across the street.

Also, Pomtzu, here's proof that I haven't gone anywhere. I did clean the car off after taking this photo though.

We keep missing the storms; they go to the south or east of us; or to the west and give us torrential rains.

We also had a snow storm this afternoon, I'm glad I didn't have to leave the house! Winter hit us really hard here this year!

We got over a foot here in MD, which is unusual for us on the shore. I had to work Sat. and it started snowing like mad; we tried to get management to close us, but it took almost 2 hours for them to make up their minds.

What worried me the most was that I drive a Mustang and they are notoriously bad in the snow; mine was no exception! Took me almost an hour to get home (about 12 miles) and my pony slid a lot.

Now we hear we'll be getting MORE this weekend??? Please NO!

That's the great thing about living here. The snow is almost gone now. There are a few slushy spots on the roads and lots of mud from the melting, but things are back to normal for the most part. Here for a day or two and then back to regular life.

I wish it were back to normal here. Plenty of places including the main road in my condo complex is not plowed . I think it's sleeting now and they are expecting another big storm with high accumulations this weekend. We haven't seen this much snow in Richmond in a long long time. What gives

And my 10k Training is outside, and I don't have a treadmill here. No gym membership either. There goes the training right down the toilet.

Winter sure can bite, can't it!!!!! I cannot wait for spring/summer!!
