Collies In the Snow -- lots of pics!

I know I haven't posted much recently.... but wanted to share these pictures.

So we got about 6-8 inches of snow here in North Carolina. The dogs love it! Only two of them are really used to snow (Paris and Kelsey) as they lived and grew up in Ohio with me.... I moved to NC 4 yrs ago. Everyone else, while they have been in snow, they are not used to it like Paris and Kelsey!

Though I think Amy enjoyed it more than the rest.....

    Amy

    Amy running!! love this pic!

    Amy..

Amy and her daughter Tori (in the back)

    Paris

Bree (front) and Paris -- Bree's mother

For some reason I managed to not get one picture of Kelsey... so here is Kelsey from last winter..

    Kelsey

Then we have Quinn... my 4 1/2 month old smooth pup..

First time in more than a dusting of snow!! lol

This might not be to bad...

    Or not...
If you're gonna breed Collies, don't you forget to breed in the brains and common sense. Without that you won't have a Collie, you'll have just another dog.

Now we have some random group shots..

Tori, Bree, Pairs, Amy and Quinn

    Quinn, Paris and Amy

Bree, Amy, Tori, Quinn and Paris

They (the roughs) were starting to get snow balls in their feet so everyone was ready to go back inside.... I'll take them back out later this afternoon and try for more pictures!!

Great piccies. My Borders suffered a lot with the little iceballs in their feet when we had snow. They are a pain.

Don't see many roughs around now and even less of the smooths. They are mainly a show persons dog here. BCs are most popular and working strain beardies are appearing more too.
Dogs are not our whole lives but they make our lives whole.

Your dogs are absolutely gorgeous! Glad to see they all had a fun time in the snow... I bet it is neat to watch them all play together.

Man o Man... Collies are my first loves Thanks so much for posting these pictures... it brought back a lot of fond memories of growing up. If I ever switch breeds again, it would be to go back to the collie.

Amy's saying "Yeah, THIS is why I have such long fur - because snow is FUN! And I don't even feel the cold, let's romp!"

    Fun pictures, thanks for sharing!

Ha.. they are USUALLY pretty well behaved... so it's actually pretty calm most of the time... though three of them are under 2 yrs of age, so they have some energy.... and Quinn, the smooth blue, she is only 4 1/2 months old, and she is full of herself. At about 9 wks of age, just a few days after I got her, while I was at work, she climbed her pen (expen sitting in my kitchen, next to the table) and then climbed onto my kitchen table..... I came home from work to find her standing on top of my table.... looking at me so proud!! LOL
