    please help me identify this?

My brother & sister-in-law just got back from a trip to Korea, and they emailed me these pics of puppies that were for sale for $40. I guess they were thinking of getting one (they didn't) and thought they were yellow labs. I don't think they are, and was wondering if anybody could help me identify them. Thanks!

Could it be the Jindo dog that was talked about earlier on Pettalk.

It is a Korean dog and of that colouring, I have only seen pics of full grown ones though.

That is what I immediately suspected also. I couldn't find the previous thread with pictures, though.

I just hope those are not the breed that they use for meat. I know that there is a specific breed that they use, but I don't know what it is. I agree with the Jindo based on the picture that Manda posted.

oh, that first picture is so cute! what a nice dog! that's terrible, using a dog for meat.

The puppies have floppy ears and in the first picture it didn't look like the dogs tail was curled. Jindo's have that spitz like tail and pointed ears like a lot of the asian breeds or dogs (Jindos, Chows...)Maybe it's a Jindo mix or something.

Thanks for the great signature Kay!
