    Some Pet Portraits

I've been a little delayed in posting some pet portraits or my new site - http://www.amyquarnberg.com There's still a bunch of stuff I need to fix but it will do for now. I did a lot of painting last spring semester at school and found that I like it better than the other mediums I used to do pet portraits in. Anyway, here's my lastest, its my manager's husky, Shilo. My manager went in for back surgery yesterday and so I did this is a gift to her. She really wanted to be able to have Shilo at the hospital with her so this was the closest I could get to that.

This is one I did before Christmas of my cousins dog, Marla

And in case you missed it in his memorial thread, this is Moesha's Morgan.

I love your work. I treasure my portrait of Morgan. I show everyone that I can! I'm still working on getting pictures of some of my friends' pets to have some painted for them. It is the best!

Time helps the sadness subside, but the memories remain forever.

Amy, I agree that you sure are talented. One of these days I need to send you my cats pictures so that you can do a picture of them.

You do such beautiful work - I am so jealous! There is a lot of art talent in my family, but unfortunately, none of it ever came my way. I can't even draw a decent stick figure!!!
