The Holliday's with Blue.

Blue being me and not the Blue Dog.

I thought my brother had uploaded all of the pics to his FB account but Im not finding them so Ill post what I can find and the rest when they get uploaded, my camera sucks and my cam phone is even worse so I didnt take any pics myself.

My brother flew in Christmas Eve, first time he has been in AK in 4 years. We had a few martinis.

Christmas morning was breakfast followed by the opening of presents, supervised by Dana the Cat under the tree.

Mom got a Wii Fit for her and the Step dad. Brian and I had big fun with that after I set it up. It took some doing but we got our techniphobe Step dad to bowl and good times where had by all.

Saturday night Brian, my brother, and I had a mini reunion with HS friends, many drinks and good times had by all.

More pics when I get them.

Sunday we went to the firing range as my gift to the family since I am next to flat broke.

My mom firing a rifle for the first time Ever!

My brother firing a rifle for the first time Ever!

Videos, I hope the links work.

    Brian.

    Me.

I was sure Brian had pics/videos of mom and Laurie with the Glock, Ill have to wait till he uploads them to post.

The rest of the week was pretty tame, we went out for cocktails a few times, Brian cooked a mean dinner.

Brian and Mom did a good deal of XCountry skiing, and Brian did some Skijourning.

I have to go back to Anchorage next week so I should be able to upload more pics then.

I got home mid morning, spent some time with Erp the Cat, then went and got the dogs.

Im sure if we had the time she would have matched her hearing protection to outfit, Im not going to mortify her by pointing out that she clashed at the range.

When I got home to unload the Jeep and cuddle with Erp the Cat before going to pick up the dogs, I saw that my driveway had been driven on while I was gone. My friends Fred and Joanie dropped of a present for me while they where in the Valley for Christmas.

They gave me a Guinness hat with a built in bottle opener on the bill!

More then one of my neighbors must have gotten firearms from Santa this year, Ive been hearing shots fired regularly since I got home around 11AM.

Bi-Pods on battle rifles are for wimps.

I prefer the romainian folder with the UltiMak, the newbs and my SD liked the stability of the bipod.

The Mom Lady did quite well with the Glock at 50 yrds firing at CDs.

Good to see that you had such a good time w/family, blue. Great pix, too. I prefer to think that your mom's ear plugs set off her outfit. Happy new year.

Awesome!! Thanks for sharing. It looks like you guys had a blast.

These days, it's trendy to not match. Mom is a fashionista with the color of the ear plugs. The color "pops" with her coat. She knows what she's doing.

blue: why did you put this in the dog house?
