    What fun!!!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

    People can be so uncaring.....

Some people just "don't get it" - or just don't care. Probably both.

It makes me want to cry - or scream. Probably both.

    Oh no!!!!

I just realized that today is a real crappy anniversary date. It was one year ago today that I was driving to NC, with the intention of making that my home. Thank goodness I came to my senses, and returned here on January 24th - which was a celebration in itself, and also Myndi's birthday. I'm pleading temporary insanity in that whole fiasco. Wish I could just erase those 3 months and pretend that they never happened, because they still haunt me.....................

Sorry to hear that. Take comfort in the fact that they are in the past, and now you are where you an Wolfie and the kitties are meant to be, and can be happy!

My random though (one that I have had many times over the years): it is a good thing I do not drink alcohol, as I can drink down a bottle of water or a mug of tea so fast it is gone before I know it!

(And no, I am not diabetic!)

Someone has a birthday this Saturday. He's a very handsome devil with amazing hair. I'm going to fix him special things to eat that day, rather than the same old/same old. I'm even going to make a unique birthday "cake".

Hmmmm - I wonder who this mystery individual could be.................

I'm so very sorry "C" - it should not have happened like this.. If I had been allowed to help - the outcome may have been different. So sad, and just not right for any reason.

Thanks Elyse, but I can't/won't go in to details. It was just a sad situation that might have turned out differently than it did, if it had been addressed earlier.

Made my first small jar of basil vinegar this season as a gift to a friend, I have no garden space here, and very little sunlight, so just some small purple basil plants in a blue pot - and it turned out so pretty! The purple basil turns the white vinegar a lovely shade of lavender-ish pink, and it is scrumptious on tomatoes! Gotta find a small jar and make some for myself!

Should I be annoyed that I'm missing 9/10ths of a point in my current college course?
