Never use an ATM before sufficient caffeine has been introduced to your system!
Especially if you happen to be one of MY relations! We all learned early, when Dad was working rotating shifts, to put the coffee pot on as soon as we heard his feet hit the floor, regardless of what hour of the day it was!

Why can you sometimes see the moon during the day in daylight, but can't see the sun at night when it's dark?

Now I am going to sit here all day wondering about that.

    LOL,

It has to do with the moon not being a 'light generating' body. The reason you can see it during the day is that it has 'albedo', the ability to reflect light, so when the sun is opposite, it reflects off the moon and voila'. Moon over you house!

Thanks - that makes sense! I was never much for the sciences - I was a numbers cruncher!

Please make it stop!!! That "laugh" is driving me nuts! It's somewhat of a combo giggle and cackle, and it just grates on my nerves. It goes right thru me - like fingernails across the blackboard. Once in a while I can handle it, but when you watch a show that isn't the least bit funny, and have to laugh at least once every 30 seconds ~~~~ well that's way more than I care to listen to. I guess earplugs are needed!

Oh...I totally missed that! Sorry about that.
You need a different kind of a remote with a special mute button for that situation.

International Polar Bear Day - February 27

Got this in the members' e-mail from Brookfield Zoo...

    International Polar Bear Day
    February 27
Join us in celebrating International Polar Bear Day on Monday, February 27th, by turning your thermostat down two degrees to lower carbon emissions and help save Arctic sea ice. Show your support for action on climate change by bundling up in your favorite sweater or parka on that day.
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!
