"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio. 90% Midland.

That probably comes from the fact that I'm born and raised in Tennessee by parents that were from Massachusetts.

Time helps the sadness subside, but the memories remain forever.

I've seen it done too many times.

Sometimes I think I'm an idiot!

Correction - sometimes I KNOW I'm an idiot.

I have to be, to eat a meatball sub stacked with sweet peppers, green peppers, and onions, when I've been battling an IBS flareup for the past couple of weeks. I'm going to regret it - big time! But it tasted so darn good - and I only ate half of a footlong............

Oh, isn't that interesting! (Chicago bridge lifting.) I'd never heard about that before.

What a delightful sign of spring for Chicagoans!

Can someone please point me to the "Klam Joose" thread? I am having a not-good day and I need to smile. I know that thread will be just what I need, but I can't find it.

I'm right there with him! I never thought I'd ever see an XXX-Rated trial live on t.v. Some of the things that have been said - unreal!!! Of course I think that Jodi is an obsessed, stalking, nympho, but I seriously doubt that she'll get a death sentence. IMO - she deserves what she did to Travis. Self defense??? - sure - and pigs fly too! And kudos to Juan Martinez for being the pitbull that he is. I can't believe that some felt he was too hard on Jodi and other defense witnesses.

    What does your hubby think?
