So after 6 months of looking like a shaggy dog, I finally make an appointment to get my hair cut tomorrow, and tomorrow is going to be the coldest weather (factoring in the wind chill) that we've had in 2 years. Figures!!! Now my head will freeze..........

Scarf - yes, but I don't do hats unless it's actually snowing. I hate hats and only own one - a ski hat. I don't even like the hoods on my parkas.

The hood on my winter coat is so big that it comes down over my eyes when I put it up. My head is not that big! I do put the hood up when it is super-cold out. I got a circle scarf for Christmas and I like to wear it like this ---

You look very pretty in your circle scarf. I have no idea why they make coats with enormous hoods either. Mine never fit and I cannot see as well. Guess we should wear 3 tooks and posess an enormous, bulbus head eh...

Man, I thought the Super Bowl was a nail biter! Good right to the very end! The QB for the 49ers looks sooooo young -- like he just finished high school! He did a great job in the second half, though. The power loss was so weird - bet they will check the power to the Superdome before the next event there!

This may be a repost, but what the heck.

It's really difficult to get motivated to do anything when you have a cat in your lap and a dog snoring into your hip.

Note to self: Before making oatmeal for oneself check and make sure the milk in the fridge hasn't expired. Sigh.

Is it hypocrisy for a strict vegan to use products made from steel? After all, tallow (rendered animal fat) is used extensively in steel production.

Does that mean that they can't burn candles either?

Made beef burgundy for dinner tonight.

I was reading the recipe, and under ingredients it listed "Cabernet sauvignon or other dry red wine"..

    Hello?

    Beef BURGUNDY ring a bell?
