What you see here is my first and only attempt to take a Christmas picture of my three cats. I waited until they were all sitting on the sofa, then slipped a bow around Sassy's neck while distracting him with cheese.
This photo is the lamentable result. The cats were annoyed by the camera flash, and all have identical expressions of sullen disgust. Not the kind of thing for a joy-and-good-will holiday.

None of them look very happy. It only took one red bow to kill their Christmas Spirit? Poor babies.

You're lucky; if I had even approached my two with a ribbon/bow, they would have flown off the couch!
As soon as Archy sees the camera, he gets up and puts his nose right up to the lens...............so my chances of getting a good pik of him are nil.
