I'm not too familiar with reptile/snake care, but I can imagine that AK just might not provide the most ideal of environments for a snake. But it's clear your devoted Mom is doing all in her power to keep you happy, healthy and safe, and with her for many, many more years to come!
Just keep those "great escapes" to a minimum, and don't venture far...your Mommy loves you dearly, and wants to have you around for a long, long time!
