Dyson vacuum hight pitch noise question

I just replaced my DC07 Dyson. Broke
I purchased the model DC15 ball.
I used it the 1st time today and though it is a little quieter it made this annoying high pitched sound that is driving my ears crazy.
    Anybody else have this problem?

It takes about 10 strands of hair for the rollers in the bottom of my dyson to get full and make that sound. As soon as I flip it over and cut off the offending hairs it is quiet again.

Sirrahsim as soon as I read your post I went and cleaned the hairs of the roller. It still made that horrible noise. I even turned off the brush motor so it would not turn and that did not help either.
But at least I see I am not alone with the high pitch sound.

I am wondering if you might want to call the Dyson folks and ask about this? They were super-nice when I called with questions Those machines are too pricy to have something that might be wrong! Maybe the roller ball one has a different motor that does this? I have the older DC07 one and it does not make any high pitched noises. Good luck!
