Does she look pregnant? Does she have plenty of soft materials available to make a soft place to give birth? Depending on how well they get along, you may want to be prepared to separate the two adults if the other female starts to act aggressively toward the pups ... other than that, make sure she's got water and soft bedding available, and just watch carefully.

What are her other symptoms or behavior? It could be many things ... a vet is the only one who would know for sure. If she's still bleeding tomorrow morning, a trip to the vet first thing is in order.

Sorry, I have posted an update yet. It has been very busy lately.

My rat, you could see a little baby rat body starting to come out of that area, so I thought she was going into labor. No babies came. Maybe something happened where they died in her, or she was too young. Who knows...........After a couple of days she was back to herself, as happy and energetic as can be. It has been a while since then, and she is fine.

I think b/c she was mixed w/ males at the petstore. At least she is fine now!! I am still stunned that I have no faint idea what had happened w/ her. It could've been anything.

Here is a picture of her (if it works) Loves to pose for pics = )

    Just realized this

I just realized the title of my subject was MY rat bleeding.. It was just a typo the M and y being capitalized.. Some people may have thought I was rude just because I put MY instead of my.. like I was too good for people. I don't think that and want to let u know. One of my friends read my post and mentioned it so i just am being paranoid! lol

    Sorry
