I have had Buddy for about 7 years. He has always been a lovey cat letting me pick him up and walk with him whenever I want, but has never been a lap cat.
About 3 weeks ago when I was sitting in my recliner with my lap top he jumped up onto the arm of the chair and purred, meowed and rolled his head. Of course I loved it! Ever since that day he gets up in my chair daily, sitting on the arm, falling asleep sometimes. Today he is all over the chair, and right now is laying on the back of the chair. Every time I look back at him he says "meow". It is just making me so happy.
What I am wondering is why after 7 years he has changed his habit. I wonder if it has something to do with Casey being gone now for almost 2 months. At any rate, it is great!
