I am so sorry about beautiful Star. She was such a beautiful, striking dog with her icey state. I am so sorry for your loss, Pat. May she run free with her handsome brothfurr Sherman at last.

    I'm late in posting......
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. It's so hard to lose a beloved member of our furfamily. We've all been through it and we know, only too well, the heartache.

I'm so sorry for you loss.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Oh, I am so sad to see this. Even though we knew it was coming, it's still difficult. I couldn't even read through the entire thread. Too many tears.

RIP Star, you and Sherman are together again.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

It's been just over 2 weeks already. I've read through all your posts, thank you for sharing your sympathies and loving support, it means a lot to us. We miss her terribly, it still doesn't seem possible she's really, really, gone. I was finally able to put together a Memorial, which I'll post on our blog on Monday. So many pictures, so many memories! I could have made a 2-hour feature film!

And a special thanks to all our PT Findlay friends. You are all very special to us, and Diana's right, all the dogs seem like "ours". Even though we haven't been to the recent gatherings, I think about you all and look at all the pictures. At some point when I get back to OH, I plan to bring some of Star's ashes to add under the tree where a I buried a little of Sherman's ashes. That park was their kingdom. I'll forever see them doing their little ritual, following each other all the way around the fence line. They're probably following each other around in heaven now. That makes me smile.

The memorial was lovely. She was a gorgeous gal, and even though I may not know you or Star, and it was a powerpoint, I could still feel how much you loved her thru the screen. Brought tears to my eyes. She's up there with my Honda girl now... they all take care of each other up there.

Monica, we moved from Findlay (actually, Arcadia) a little before you arrived. If you got to the dogpark, I'm sure we have mutual friends there. I hope to make it back to one of the PT picnics sometime.

A really beautiful tribute to a beautiful Star. The music was a perfect choice. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.
