    Concordia, here I come!

It looks like it'll be moving day for me in about a week to go to Concordia Home. We had another meeting with the administrator this mornng and it looks like everything and all of the paperwork are in order. She's going to talk with the head admin this afternoon about the final decision to accept me and she will let me know either this afternoon or tomorrow, but she feels that it's pretty much a formality. I'll be sharing a room to start off with, when a private room becomes available. I'll let you know when I'll be off PT. If anyone wants my new phone number and adress I'll be happy to PM them to you.

Karen, I haven't heard anything from Cat Sense on how Marigold is doing, but I figure no news is good news!

Wow, what a big step forward!

My very best wishes to you, David, for much happiness in your new home.

I'll do that, Sis. I can bring up there my HDTV tv, my webtv system, family pictures, my DVD collection, a DVD player and a VCR and vhs tapes. Also going up my Lava lamp! BTW, I talked with the people at Cat Sense and the boss lady said that Marigold is adjusting very well to her new home.

WHY will you be "off PT" ???

Other than a day or two to actually move and get settled in ...
WHY won't you continue to participate on Pet Talk?

    Say it isn't so!

C&S, I'm sorry I didn't that clear. I meant to say what you said above, "Other than a day or two to actually move and get settled in" I WILL stay on PT!

Wonderful!!! I will be praying for you, David. You're a very brave man. You've covered alot of territory in the last year. Your life is gonna be great at your new place.

Thank you, Terri. I'm not really as brave as you think. I get scared witless knowing I've had to give up everything (except PT) that has been going on in my life for 60 years, some good like not worrying about a car or a house and the bills that go with it, and some that really hurt like rehoming poor Marigold. I know this move is needed and it will open up a new chapter in my life, but it means a lot of sacrifice in the process.

I wish you the best of everything in your new home, David.
