Talked to Emma on the phone (+ 3 new pics)

I've been talking to my mother on the phone earlier today. Emma sat beside her and suddenly acted like crazy; she jumped at my mother and was so excited. We found out that she must have heard my voice on the phone (because she's only acting this crazy when I'm around ). Then I started sweet-talking to her, and she acted even more funny, started looking for me everywhere. In the end, the poor girl was so confused!

BTW, here are some new photos of her from our zoo visit two weeks ago. That's been such an exciting day for her, all these strange animals and scents!

I'm curious -- did the animals react to Emma at all? Did she react to them? I mean, were any animals afraid of her or vice-versa? Did she want to eat any of the little critters? I've never seen a dog at the zoo before.

Well, she's been very interested in the guinea pigs and the meerkats, but I don't know if she would eat them. I think she would have tried to attack the male lion if there wasn't a glas panel between the two of them. The lion didn't care at all, btw. Vice versa, the cheetah tried to attack her. And the vicunas were staring at her, so I guess they were alarmed.

BTW, last year, she's been attacked by the leopard, and she fought back (of course there was a glas panel between the two of them). But it looked really scary:

    Oooh. Emma is absolutely stunning!

And wow those photos from last years trip to the zoo are really something! Good thing there was a glass panel between the two.
Rottweilers are such wonderful dogs. And brave too. They don't back away from anything.

...well except the nail trimmer of course My friend has a Rottweiler and I helped her trim her nails yesterday. Boy did she put up a pathetic show

I can never ever believe how gorgeous she is. A stunning Rottie, if I've ever seen one. The pictures with the leopard are incredible. I love the fact that you talked to her on the phone. What a doll!!!

    Fantastic Pictures!

I know I've said this every time you post pictures but... she's gorgeous
I'm surprised she got to go in. Dogs aren't allowed at the zoo here.

Please give her a hug for me

They're not allowed in all zoos here either, but in Hanover, dogs are welcome.

Anna, I know how much you love rotties, and I wish you could met Emma!

She's on vacation right now, with my mother and Reinhold on the isle of Föhr.
