200 Dogs seized In Indiana (Update 6/12/09)

Classic case of a puppy mill in a Indiana town. It adds other types
of charges other than the weaker Cruelty charges. Tax charges gets these
where they live, in the pocket book. Another Puppy Mill out of business.

Those poor doggies. The one picture looks like my Daisy. I hope they throw the book at this woman and she is punished severely.

    This is great!

I agree - the only way to put these facilities out of business is to make them not profitable. Every time someone buys a puppy from a pet store or one of these breeding facilities, it puts money in the pockets of these people and allows 5 more dogs to live their lives in horror.

I don't know how many other states uses Tax Law to shut down these
dirty businesses. I must say our local AJ office takes every effort to
help animals & the city. Some of the dogs seized are now coming to
    Indy Humane Society for adoption.

The first dogs are now available for adoption today. Others still require
more medical help first. The video shows dogs who are happy to begin
a new, happy life that they should have.
