There is no set time period for grief; if two weeks was enough, then that's fine. I have a 14 year old precious boy, and I will also be devastated when he's gone, so who knows, I may do the same thing.

Anyway, enough of that. Sissy, I really want a calico kitty too, and if she has 1/2 the personality that you display, I'll consider myself lucky. Enjoy your special day with Ms. Kitty; she is really the lucky one here.

I'm so sorry that your Mommy, Ms. Kitty, had to say goodbye to your predecessor, the beloved Sugar. We here at Pet Talk know what an utterly heartbreaking experience that is. But thanks to the dear Pastor, two hearts, two spirits were healed and united, that happy day your Mommy took a chance on you!
