    My new cichlids

I picked up 12 maingano for my newest tank (its been running with just 4 BN in it *L*). The tank is a bit cloudy as i did a decor reshuffle. But oh gee they are just gorgeous and once they settle in the colours should come out a bit more.

And now for the new arrivals!!

Very very pretty tank arrangement and fish! My hubby has a 100 gallon tank with African cichlids and cannot have any kind of plants in it at all. They pull them up constantly so he gave up. He has lots of rocks for caves, etc. My son also has no luck with plants in his cichlid tank either for the same reason. You are very fortunate!

Gorgeous tank and fish . I have to try and get mine online. It sure was impossible to get pics of my peacock cichlid. He wanted food so he wouldn't stop wagging. I got him a girlfriend the other day.

Thank you, i'm just loving these fish, such a pretty blue and always moving.

Pam ~ Most of the plants are plastic The only live one in the is Java fern, and takes a bit to kill it. Anyway we will see how they go. More rock work will need to be added as the grow, and some will need to be traded when they are getting to full size, unless i have my other tank by then (leaving my 5ft free to make a cichlid tank)

wow you've got a bunch of the same kind..we use to have one of those kind when we use to have cichlids
