First day of spring pics...

Ok so I'm a few days late in posting these... I'm lazy, what can I say?
Last Friday Cam was getting his van fixed so he was borrowing someone else's for the day. He didn't want to get rottweiler hair in it so Ramone got the day off. Since I was working pretty much the whole day I decided to take all three dogs for a walk before I started to tire them out.

The beginning of the walk didn't start out great. I kept the shelties on leash because they are older and over do it if I let them off at the beginning when they are super excited to be there. Ramone was being a jerk and not listening. So I attatched him to the same leash as Clipse. Suprisingly, he behaved really well on the leash. We walked the length of the park and back again and then I let him off leash again and he listened much better. I can't let all three run together for a couple of reasons...one Clipse's insanse circles really get Ramone's prey drive going and he just focuses on Clipse and nothing else... two the shelties get too over excited by Ramone's energy and over do it and then are limping for a couple days after.

Anywho...I'm sure you are all sick of reading so here are the pics...

Ramone (the jerk) kept bringing the ball over the shelties and dropping it beside them, as if to say "look what I get to play with guys".

"Just a minute mom, I need a rest."

"C'mon guys, why aren't you playing?"

Then I put Ramone in a down stay and let the shelties play.

Go Clipse Go!

Mony being a good boy, staying while the shelties play. I honestly wasn't sure how he would do at this as we haven't done it much. I mean he's been in a stay before while I worked the shelties, but not while they were running around and playing.

Note his change in expression as Clipse runs by. I call that his look of concentration... "Oh god, I really want to chase him. Oh god... I have to stay..." LOL

I decided to throw the ball out for the shelties after they ran by.

Em has always just loved to push balls around. Must be the herding dog in her.

Clipse really doesn't care for toys too much. Just don't get in the way of his circles.

"Umm Mom? Don't forget about me. I'm in a stay here, remember?" I went and put the shelties in the car before I released Ramone for one last play as a reward for such a good stay.

I left the car door open, because Clipse can't be left in the car. He goes nuts the moment the door closes and I start to walk away.

"Yes! I am free! That was so hard. You don't even understand!"

wow that looks like so much fun! Ramone looks like he is having so much fun! And that face when he is laying down and they were running around him! haha!!!

Great pictures!!! I always love seeing the Shelties!! They're so beautiful. I'm in love with Ramone. He is such a kissable, huggable, cute guy!! Thanks for sharing.

and Clipse. oh Clipse you nutty boy... LOL... love him so much!!

thay sure had fun and I´m impressed they stayed put while the other pup/s were playing... too temping IMO.. and they did awesone!!
