Thank you again - I am taking notes.

It seems I will be catsitting again in April - a gorgeous blond orange tabby with one eye. His name is Dali, he is 13 and get medicine for his gums. His most recent vet visit was in Nov. 08. Have just been to visit his mom, Caroline came along, as we will both cat sit.

The family just recently moved to Denmark and haven't got a vet yet, so I'm going to recommend mine. It will be perfect, because one of vets there is French.

I had a chat with a member of the Cat-sitting Exchange group, she is an American and has started her own cat-sitting business. Her site looks really nice, and I like the name, too:

    Have a look!

May kitty go outdoors? Does he need to wear a leash? Is there anywhere outdoors he should not be allowed to go?

Cassie says: Are you kidding me? I was an outside-only kitty the first part of my life. I am NOT going outside again. Just open the screen door and let me enjoy the fresh air from this side. I can see the birds and the sky just fine from here, thank you.
Milo says: I love to go out on the screen porch, observe my kingdom, and dig my claws into the pretty mat out there! You can come too! Bring some water for each of us to drink. Oh, and bring my kitty comb, too. We'll sit on the bench and you can comb me.

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!

I cat-sit on occasion for cats that are allowed to go outdoors by their hoomans. While I am in charge, the cats do NOT go out! I make this clear to the people ahead of time.
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
