Rat Friends

Rats make such wonderful pets. They're smart, funny, and have distinct personalities. Mattisse (passed on) used to love to have his tummy rubbed, and went for walks w/ me on my shoulder. Rico was quiet and shy, but loved back massages. Both loved kung fu fighting (just in fun). Both sadly only lived to be about 3, but they were loved deeply while w/ me.

Oh, I agree! I used to have many pet rats, but I have decided against getting anymore, because it's just too sad seeing them pass away especially with the short life spans they have. I'll always have a special place in my heart for rats though I still have pictures of my little ratties for memories.
