    8 months old now

Little miss Addy is 8 months old now. Travis will be 4yr next month!

I finally got her all registered with the AKC and set up her pedigree on the pedigree database. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/...ee/588859.html
Took me a while to think of a registered name for her.

I've been pretty lazy with her trick training. -insert guilty face here-
But for now she knows Sit, Platz, Come, Spin, Hopp [which is german for jump], Paw, Kisses, Off, and when she feels like it, Bleib. I still need to get her stay [bleib] to be solid. After that I'll work on Fuss. I've done some offleash heel work and she was great, I just haven't followed through with it.

She is wonderful offleash. They both have a fairly solid recall. I take them out on my grandparents 10+ acres and let them run about offleash. They love it.

Anyway, enough of the babbling and onto the pictures!

These first few are random shots in the backyard.

wow, where is Addax from? I love GSDs and the only thing stopping me from ever getting one is finding a well bred GSD that isnt deformed, and Addax is exactly the type of GSD I would want lol

Nope, same camera I've had for about two years now. Hoping for a new lens soon though!

Addaxx, my "wolf dog", is a German Shepherd Dog. As is Travis.

Addy's out of German Working Lines [both parents are German Imports], so if you're looking for a dog like her, go for a breeder that breeds the Working Lines. If you want to send me a message I can help you find a nice breeder. ^^ I have TONS saved. -not obsessed at all-
Not to mention I just love babbling on about the breed.

well working lines would be a given, I would never touch a show GSD breeder lol. I am speaking more of the level back and nice rear, even on german working lines I regularly see banana backs. I come accross very few with the nice level normal dog build that Addy has.

Perhaps you're looking at the wrong working line breeders? Lol, I dont know.
The collection of GSD breeders I have on my computer all have dogs with the nice level topline like Addy. It's quite common in the Working lines. IMO, they are the only lines that stay true to the original GSD standard. I'm very particular about what I want a GSD to look like and have managed to find quite a few that fit my description. [i.e. Addy-like structure]

lol who knows, maybe my search skills are lacking. I have found a few with nice structures like Addy, but only like 2-3 out of the many that I have come accross, it drives me crazy, I just keep comming accross these dogs that look like someone snapped their spines in half!

Oh yeah, that is frustrating! I really hate to see what a lot of breeders are doing to the breed. =/
