Merging Threads

Hi Karen & Paul
is there a tool for Moderators for merging threads?
or is that considered unnecessary?

I do wonder sometimes why some people posted the same subject several times in just a few days and created a new thread when they did that rather than just add a post to the original thread and update the title when necessary.

I know that Karen has merged threads before, when they had the same title. Of course, it makes it easier for all of us if people would look for a subject first, before they post a new thread - some even post the same thread in up to five Forums!

Yes, Moderators - Paul and I, can merge threads, and often do so. If you have two threads you would like to be merged, you can always PM me.

Guess why I advocate and enforce the "Search before Posting" rule in many forums. It gets annoying having 6 threads on the same topic.
