    Christmas in Chatsworth, California?

I just read in the L.A. Daily News that someone has paid for ALL THE CAT AND DOG adoptions at the El Lay pounds in the Western San Fernando Valley area until Christmas Eve.

The costs for a dog are 91 dollars and 64 for a cat.

I got kinda choked up reading this. What a great way to get some of the animals out of the shelters and into homes.

That's wonderful! I hope lots of the kitties and dogs will find new loving homes!

Boy Richard, it is kind of hard to read that and not get choked up. Now that's my idea of the greatest Christmas spirit. I hope they all get loving homes.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I went online to find the story and what the newspaper reported and what I see are two different things......

At least someone, somewhere got the story out?

Wow, this is the nicest news I have heard in quite some time. Its so nice to read something that automatically plasters a big grin on my face.

Best of luck to the animals! I hope they find some great homes.
Whoever paid for the adoption fees is truly an amazing individual.
