    Frankie Checking In

Frankie's world had been turned upside down for the last couple of weeks, but today it has almost returned to normal. The roommates and I have been putting in new wood flooring in the house and installing new molding throughout. The problem is that Frankie hates wood floor, hates hammers, hates nail guns, hates power saws....see a pattern? If it's loud or makes running around difficult she disapproves. Riley hasn't noticed a difference when she's over, but Frankie isn't all too pleased. She's only failed to hit the brakes once and did a perfect broadside slide into the family room wall at full speed. All the humans thought it was hilarious, but I'm not sure she found it as funny.

Anyhow, I unpacked the camera and snapped a few pictures tonight:

I'm sure the only phrase going through her mind here is "Stupid wood floors."

Then to make her night worse I was playing around with flash settings and went a little to bright for the miss priss:

So she took her frustration out on her now non-squeaky toy:

And then checked out! Attitude? No....

It'll take some more time for her world to be back to mostly normal I guess.

Aw poor Frankie - sometimes it's just hard to adjust. Hugs and yummy treats always make the world a better place

Awww, poor Frankie. I'd say you could come stay with me, but we have wood floors too. But not in the bedroom.
Zoee has mastered the wood flooring. She still slips sometimes when I first get home and she is so excited to get fed (like she's starving or something). She looks like a cartoon where their feet are moving but they're not going anywhere.

You'll get used to the floors Frankie.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Aww, poor girl! Ethan can sympathize... he has similar views on all the things pretty miss Frankie hates. She will get used to it with time.

Its great to see Frankie, again!

Awww poor picked on Frankie. She really doesn't look too pleased! It's nice to see her again, I've missed her...hope to see some of Riley too. The floors turned out very nice! I can imagine huskies sliding into walls on a daily basis if we had wood floors.
