I have a Pointer Pit mix.... but I think a GreatDane & a Rottweiler would be a good mix.... nice & big

I can't think of anything else that would go with a rottie!! lol ~~

I have 2 dogs: a pug whom I just adopted and an Australian shepherd/Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix. The aussie mix is a fine looking dog, he's got the herding instinct, brains, body shape & gait, and the naturally docked tail of a herding dog (aussie) and the love of water and retrieving, webbed feet and stunning eyes and wavy, water repelling coat of a chesapeake. He's quite possibly the coolest mix I have come across. He's my super genius, handsome, and gentle boy! As soon as I get a picture of him without glowing eyes from my camera flash I will submit his pic (probably with his new pug "sister") to the Dog Of The Day, that way everyone can see what I mean about how beautiful he is (and how adorable the pug is)

Wow! I've seen some pretty strange mixes that were really beautiful. Recently met a Corgi/Golden Retreiver, a GR w/ short legs, odd but absolutely stunning. I am a sucker for GR's or any retreiver breed. Saw a beagle/black lab mix once, just adorable. Hard to pick a favorite when you just swoon over all dogs!

I'd mix Rottie with Doberman and try to get a more agile Rott. But then again, the *clunkiness* of the Rottweiler is sort of special.

I pick retrievers of any kind...laborador, golden (which I am somewhat partial to), chesapeake, etc. I love Big Dogs that are smart!

I have a Jack Russell Terrier & Chihuahua mix and of course like all dogs is very very adorable. When I walk her almost everyone stops to play with her and asks, "What kind of dog is she?" In fact, I've had several requests to breed her. Most guess that she's a Beagle or a Jack Russell, but never a Chihuhua. She looks like a Jack, white w/brown spots, and a hint of black in some areas, but her head (skull) is slightly smaller, her tail and ears are longer. I have friends fighting to watch her. She is so smart, I almost want to breed her with another Jack or Chihuahua....because she is a rare mix, and gets too much attention anywhere we go.

    Best Regards ~

I'd love to own a dachshund/mini poodle mix. Especially if it produced a curly coated doxie.

    Hi,
I think lurchers are one of the best mixes possible. What a lurcher is is up for debate. I have always thought of greyhound crossed with any other sight hound such as the wolfhound but have been laughed at more than I care to remember by some who say a lurcher is greyhound crossed with anything.
