I live in southern NM but I'm afraid the only thing I can do is help with transport (if needed). I sure wish the timing were different. I'm living with my parents right now and (combined) we have 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a rabbit. Bringing a third dog into the mix just wouldn't fly. That said, I am in the process of buying my first place but won't sign until next month. Even then, there's no fencing up yet.

How is Jack with cats? small animals in general?

Oh, Jack! I'd snatch you up in a heartbeat if I could. My very first dog was a blonde cocker and she was the best dog ever!

He's good with small animals.Doesn't bug my mom's birds or guinea pig.
He's getting used to the cats.He is kinda scared of the cats because they hiss at him.He has never been around other dogs.

Why did she try to get rid of him, then change her mind?

The owner is my dad's cousin wife and let's just say my family is one big mess.
    Both sides.
