When I dropped Larry, a foster Guinea pig, off at the rescue yesterday I picked up my new addition! She is a white and tan Peruvian/Abby. mix. She has some hair on her forehead that sticks strait up so she reminds me of a little cockatoo. Her foster mom guesstimated her age to be about eight months.
She's a very sweet girl but it still getting used to the surroundings here. She's letting me pet her now without running away, so I think in a day or two she'll be ready to let me pick her up (as she was quite calm and friendly at the rescue). Once she's used to me I'm going to introduce her to Lucy (my current piggy).
Here are some pictures. They really don't do her justice...she is much more goofy looking in person. LOL Not only is her head flare more prominant in first person, but she has these cute little cheek fluffs that make her look like a little chipmunk!:

She does, however, still need a name. She was being called "Crazy Hair Girl" by her foster mom, but I want something that rolls off the tounge a bit more easily. My family hasn't been a big help, because they just want to name her "Fluffy" or "Snowball". No thanks. I thought about calling her "Bunny" for a dust-bunny, but I don't know...it just doesn't seem to fit. Maybe. I'm horrible at naming things.
