Peaches you are such a sweet little dog. When I was growing up the Bobbsey Twins were one of my favorite sets of books. They had a wire haired terrier in it name Friskie and ever since then I wanted a wire-haired terrier. And after seeing the pictures of you, I can easily see why I was attracted to this breed. I am glad you found a family who loves you very much! Congratulations on being Dog of the Day!

Hi there pretty, precious Peaches! Wire Haired Terriers, one of those breeds I've admired and loved from afar, since childhood! I think my appreciation can be traced back to Asta, the beloved Wired Haired Terrier sidekick of amateur sleuths Nick and Nora, of "The Thin Man" movie fame! Now reading here today I've also learned the Bobbsey Twins also had a "Peaches!" Well, you more than live up to your famous predecessors' legacies Peaches...only you're prettier and sweeter too, all peaches and cream! And I don't think Asta loved water as you do! Congratulations on garnering our coveted "top dog" kudos, precioius Peaches! Keep up the good work being the most joyful, loving, "sanity doggie" a family could ever hope for!
