This should be an excellent and very informative conference. Unfortunately, due to demands at work and Soncat preparing to leave for college later this summer, attending is out of the question.

Should any PTers be able to attend, please share what you learn with us?

THAT SOUNDS LIKE AN INTERESTING CONFERENCE, AND I KNOW THAT THE PET ANGELS JUST LOVE LAS VEGAS.
I WILL SEE IF I CAN ATTEND, BUT HEALTH ISSUES AND FINDING SOMEONE TO MIND THE HOTEL MAY MAKE THAT IMPOSSIBLE.

A few years ago, our shelter was going to send me and another shelter worker to the Best Friends No More Homeless Pets Conference, which was being held in Boston that year.

Then, just before the conference was to begin, Hurricane Katrina struck..

And Best Friends cancelled the conference because they went to work sending their people and supplies and money down to the flooded areas to rescue lost and stranded pets. They weren't going to stop doing that in order to run the conference.
