Urgent: Shelter closing in IN. Foster/permant homes needed

The Marion/Grant country humane society is closing towards the end of this month. Any animal left will be euthanized after a short time span.
They will be reopening a new shelter, but they don't want to transfer the animals for fear of sickness spreading to their new "no-kill" shelter.

They are open to foster homes and rescues taking the animals, and they need help. There are numerous dogs and tons of cats all needing placed.

Here is a link that gives the details for the dogs, as well as pictures:

    And for the cats:

Doesn't that take the cake!? Doesn't seem to follow the no kill discipline.

I pray all those wee souls are saved.

Sometimes threatening to euthanize is the best way to get all those animals saved. I hope this is the case. I see 90% of those dogs have "saved" by their names.

I so want that 8 month old rottie mix.
