    Back in the crate..

My dog has been acting different lately and I'm not sure what's going on. I have a 2 1/2 year old Jack Russell. She is such a good dog; very unlike JRTs with her calm demeanor. When I first got her from the rescue, she was crated until I knew that I could leave her out when I went to work. She was good for about 9 months. Yesterday, she pooped and peed in the house (a few places in the house). She never does this! Today she was put in her crate and was fine (she loves her crate).
Tonight she seems disoriented. She went to jump on the ottoman and missed it. Later she was walking across the hardwood floors and slipped- she was walking slowly. It was like she was drunk. This is unlike her. She is still running around once in awhile and playing with her ball. She is eating and drinking her water as well. Any ideas what is going on? The pooping and peeing in the house really bothered me. She just doesn't do this..
I love my Jack Russells, Lilo & Stitch!

I hope she has seen the Vet by now. It does sound like your dog may
    have suffered a seizure.

    Smile She's fine..

Stitch is fine. Thank you all for your advice. She is scheduled to go back to the vet on Monday. We are driving to PA (from FL) and the vet wants to check her before we leave. She thinks that Stitch had a bad reaction to her new flea medicine (we just changed brands after a year of the same thing), but she did not have a seizure-- thank goodness. We had to get her hydrated and she is back to her old self again.

Wow! What kind of flea meds did you switch to?

I'm glad to know she's better!

That's good to hear. I trust only the major brands for flea/tick stuff.
I've read to many bad stories about the cheap stuff you can buy in a
    grocery or pet store.
