Thread: gas prices in your area?

  1. #46
We are in the Tacoma, Wa. area and gas here is $3.81 and up depending on where you by it. We all need a break from the high prices!!! A big rip off...

I've heard NW Ohio isn't far behind you and should hit $4.00 by tomorrow. I wish there was a good bike route to work....but it is either highway, or inner city. Not a good option either way!!!

Went from $3.83 yesterday to $3.99 today!

Fortunately, I filled up on Saturday, and I paid $3.75. I am so lucky that I get good gas mileage, and I am able to plan shopping around drives to and from work. So a tank of gas for me can last for up to 3 weeks! I know I am lucky.... I don't know how many can afford to work anymore!

I have considered taking the bus. And I have also condsidered using my tax stimulus check to buy a bike to get back and forth. Unfortunately, I often have to drive to a meeting during the day for work, so many days it won't work for me to ride the bus or a bike.

It maddens me how the price can jump by 20 cents or more overnight!

Went from $3.64 to $3.79 today... man what a "coincidence" right before a holiday...

FORTUNATELY a friend at school's friend works at QT and texted her telling her to fill up, so I called hubby and had him fill up the car... good thing cause not even two hours later the prices went up. I wasn't even able to fill up the truck, oh well at least we got one vehicle good to go!

    Holy Cow!!

Just now, on the NBC Nightly News, it was predicted that gas would be $5 - 6 per gallon, by the end of the summer!!

went up to $ 1.33 today....very high. Costs us about $250.00 a week to use the van. We could do with a little bit of saving but we go where we have to when we have to. We even use the van to get to some nice trails to run the dogs and we still enjoy riding for the enjoyment of it.

    May 22:

$4.50 gallon in my town here - I saw $1.29 a litre in the city, which is about $4.88 a gallon.

Here in Cochrane, I get 5 cents per litre against my grocery bill. I am glad that this station has kept it at $1.19 per litre (4.50).

At least I have a Toyota, and my drive to work is mostly highway speeds - this last tank of gas I got 574 km to 40 litres. That's 356.67 miles and 10.667 gallons.

33.45 MPG...yuck...that car can do better! I had a half day of city rush hour traffic this afternoon, though...

Depending on the station, the "regular" is anywhere from $3.83 to $3.99 per gallon (within a mile of each other), I haven't seen any station brave enough to put $4 for Regular up.
