My husband and I adopted a mixed breed dog from the shelter when we were married 8 yrs ago. Her name is Chelsie, and she has been such a great addition to our lives. Then we decided to get a second dog 2 yrs ago after going to a dog show and falling in love with the Cavalier. We purchased a Tri-colored male puppy from a breeder, and we were both hooked on the breed.His name is Reggie and he has big freckles on his nose. These dogs are bred for companionship and you can't help but fall in love! Since our other dog had been an only child for 6 yrs, she had to adjust, but now, they couldn't be separated. There WILL be another Cavalier in our lives in the future, but for right now, our 2 spoiled children are enough.

Congrats on the new addition!

I have always liked the breed--never been around one, but they are just tooo adorable! My first dog was a cocker spaniel, such a sweet lady! Those spaniels sure know how to "use those eyes" don't they? Such expression!

Enjoy those babies and give them both a good scratch behind the ear for me.
