I have worked with more breeds in the two months I've worked there than I have in my entire life. I've been lucky enough to work with six GSDs since I've been there [yay ] and several other breeds and dogs. I love working there.

Some of the photos were taken by me [I forget which ones though] and the rest were taken by co workers.

My thoughts exactly! You can't really call that work can you?

Crackers (love that name! ) can come visit me any time. I can't promise to let him go though! Seriously, what a group. They are all awesome!

I work at a Grooming and Boarding Facility. I work as a Bather and a Kennel hand. In the kennels I do...well..just about everything! lol
Feed the dogs, let them out, give them meds [if needed], clean up after them, sweep, mop, do dishes, do laundry, and just about everything in between!


I really do love my job, but there are times where I literally want to cry from the stress. The dogs in the building I've been in for the past week [there are two buildings] have been in a particularly annoying mood and have been barking nearly non stop. Having thirty dogs barking all day at the same time is enough to make you lose your sanity. My sanity went out the door a few weeks into this job. I'm in a building all day alone with thirty or so dogs, so I often end up talking to them. lol

I don't find it at all odd that you talk to the dogs! I happen to think that dogs are better listeners than a lot of people! LOL!

they are all gorgeous. it looks like such a nice facility they even have their own beds that's cool. they look spoiled rotten.

I really do have a problem with this. You see, I've been rummaging around in my closet for a bit since I first saw this thread, and I can't find a bag large enough to sneak all of them off with me!!!

Some of the photos must have been taken after play time, those tongues are hanging out, ready for the water bowl, te hee. Such a lot of smiling faces!

I love Maddie and Ramses, Alex, and Mia, Bleu and Grace. Oh my, I wouldn't get any work done, just delivering hugs and pets all day long.

Thirty dogs barking all day??!!!! Oh my, I got a headache just reading that! Wish there were an OFF switch, huh? Or a way to remove the Energizer bunny!
