    Ginger visited the groomer!

Ginger had needed a nail trim for a while now so we finally brought her in to Petsmart. They have a special "puppy package" for dogs under 5 months that includes a wash, dry, and shampoo so we went for it all. When I went to pick her up they said that she was a wild child and asked if I knew about the puppy classes that they offer there She's a golden retriever pup for goodness sake! Of course she is hyper When we got home she went potty and then collapsed in her crate for a loooooooong nap. Now she is sweet smelling, well rested, and hopping around the back yard like a wild woman

Ooh, Ginger, you look very pretty showing off your new haircut. You should have told them that Miss Ginger graduated from their class with flying colors.

Oh, Ginger, you look so clean! I'm sure it is exhausting getting so pretty, no wonder you needed a nap!

*Sniff Sniff* Ginger smells yummy! And looks gorgeous!
I think grooming can be very traumatic for some puppies (Cody never liked it unless I did it) but you'd think the groomers would be used to different personalities. Cody graduated 1st in puppy class but you'd never know it at the groomers. Jesh. What do our PT groomers think? Surely you've had your share of "wild childs!".
