Get blood panel and xray & they say same thing,, no bone cancer (which is what i was thinking he had from reading on it) more pills,,, then i make an appt with a specialist,,, but at last minute decide to go back to his original vet,, by now Face has lost 10 pounds... and there is a visible lump in his shoulder,,, she does surgery to remove it and its bone cancer and the day before surgery she had done another xray and bones looked perfect!!! she said it was a realy weird case,,, usually the bone looks so bad that there is no way of missing this type of cancer in xray! She gave him 2 months to live,,, 2 weeks later on his 9th Bday we helped him cross the bridge,,, his breathing took a turn in the night and i told Vince (boyfriend of 10 yrs, Faces father) We have to let him go... his last meal was Mcdonalds and he threw it up right after,,,, but he scarfed it down too! LOL i held him in my arms the entire time and then laid with him after for a bit,,, i have never cried so hard in my life and so much either. He has his own shrine of his ashes and photos and poems. Rita is heartbroken they were so close,,, She is the queen of the castle now and spoiled rotten. sorry this is so long,,,
I do have one question,,,Does the pain ever go away? It was one week ago today so i dont expect anything right now but will this dead feeling inside of me ever go away?? I miss him so much i feel at times i just cant even get out of bed if he isnt there! Rita keeps me going though she has soooo much energy still at 6 yrs old shes like a huge puppy!
