Pictures anyone? And this is a test too.

Would anyone like to see pictures of Sheena, Luca and Ajax? Thought you might. Took these today when I had them outside for a run around the yard.

I wonder how well you all will be at tell Ajax apart from Sheena. Hubby and I mistake them all the time. Let me know what you all think with some of the pictures where they are together.

    This of course is Sheena

    And now Luca

And of course a few of Ajax

Ok now that you have been refreshed of their looks lets see how well you tell them apart when they are together in action shots.

How did you think you did?

WOW has he matured! And how cool... Jersey was born July 9, 2007! So she is one day older than Ajax!

In the first action shot I think Sheena is playing with Luca and Ajax is behind Sheena.
The 2nd one I think Ajax has his paws around Sheena's neck.
3rd - Sheena is on top
    4th- Ajax is on top
5th- Sheena has the upper paw
6th - Sheena is sitting down.

    How'd I do???

She is long and skinny. They are all lean looking. White Shepherd mostly look alike anyhow?

shepsrbest - I like my Shepherds to b lean, not skinny. I like to be able to see the last two ribs on them. Shows how healthy they are. A fat Shepherd is never a good thing. Can be bad for the hips and joints and would take away a lot of energy and enjoyment of life. I have a pet peeve for people who allow their dogs to get obese. And no not all whites look the same. Just like you can tell the different between several all black GSDs the same can hold true for whites.

pitc9 - I will email you the answers.

Hi everyone! I've missed seeing all you happy shepherds, wahoo, playtime!

Oh Nicole, in the first 3 photos, where you IDENTIFY THEM, I can't tell Sheena from Ajax! No way I can get the unidentified photos.

Everyone looks so happy and healthy, you sure are a wonderful doggie mom!

I find them long and skinny also shepsrbest. I think it's the conformation of the whites. They don't have the same conformation as the coloured shepherds. I too like my dogs looking well fed.

Your opinion about the confirmation on whites is your opinion so I will not get into a debate on that. But implying that a well fed, well muscled lean shepherd(which is healthier by far then an over weight one) is not as nice to look at as a "well fed" Shepherd is wrong and inmplies that lean shepherds are not well fed. My lean Shepherds are extreamly well fed thank you very much. Just because I like them lean and healthy and not fat and slow does not mean they are not well fed.
