My little girl is 4 years old today!!! I remember bringing this one home at 5 weeks old and at not even 1lb. I know most know her story but I will share a condensed version for those newbies who don't know.
Vixen it seems was almost not meant to be. When she was born her mother buried her in the blanket where she had her babies and left her. When Vixen's mother's owner was taking the blanket to be thrown out...well out rolled little Vixen. The mother cat wanted nothing to do with her. She kept pushing her away. The mother cats owner forcefully made her feed Vixen. That lasted till she was 5 weeks old and then the momma would not feed neither of her 2 kittens anymore. I went down to see her and took her with me that day. She was supplimented with kitten replacement milk from 5 weeks to 8 weeks. She was also eating her regular kitten food. She was a fearless girl from the day we brought her home and adapts to new things and animals quite well. After all she took a long plane ride from Toronto, Canada to Rome, Italy and then a train ride from Rome to Vicenza.
Today my baby is 4. She has grown a lot and is now about 6kg. She is the queen of the castle and DIVA in every sense of the word. She wants what she wants when she wants it and there is no 2 ways about it. She is our angel and we love her to pieces.
So join me in wishing my special girl a happy birthday with many many returns.
Happy 4th Birthday Vixen!!! We love you sweetie!!!
Take a walk with us through Vixen's life from the time she came to live with us at 5 weeks old until now at 4 years old.
