What make me LOL is Ian Fortey's reaction was...

but if we learned nothing else from Dick Cheney, it's that politicians brandishing weapons only leads to awkward press conferences and paramedics.
    And Grace's was...

Don't forget us poor bees turds that have to live here!

    ---------------

I have to say this about the 'stupidly' comment and invite to the WH for a beer with the jack ass professor...

This would be my answer if I was the cop-

Thanks, but no thanks for the invite.

As prez, you probably have more important things to do than to host a beer bash in the home the taxpayers fund.

I think my fellow taxpayers would agree that a meeting with the prof, while drinking beer, isn't really going to change what happened-your friend and I just didn't have a good day, due to the fact that the race card was played during the incident......

Actually, I may change my mind, Beer and BS go hand in hand.

To be so naive to think that a 'beer at my house' will change race relationships is just about right for the current regime.

If that's the case, budget for free beer in racially diverse cities.

You'll create jobs for brewers, cops, doctors, lawyers, ambulance drivers, paramedics......

Obama speaks of "transparency". IMO, this is very transparent. This won't improve race relations one whit. It's so that he can protect his arse. He showed his arse by answering the question that never should've been asked in the first place.

  9. Not all the crackpots are in Northern California!

Here is verbatim a letter to the editor from my local newspaper here in Southern California

Letter-writer Paula Finnegan is either too young or blinded by liberal glasses if she gives Cronkite a pass on exposing his liberalism [“Chronicling Cronkite,” July 21]. Does she realize there are a lot of widows of servicemen who died in Vietnam because of his nightly lies and liberal bias? He was instrumental in losing that war.

    What a bunch of maroons!

It wasn't a black man who was breaking into the esteemed professors's it was a HISPANIC!

I bet the cop was praying for a "latino" to be a suspect....we usually run, the cops beat the crap out of us and THEN we have the charges dropped. Mr. SmartGuy got off easy- what a piker.....

I am really disappointed the cop agreed to go, everyone has a price. But, a bottle of beer, for pete's sake?

The Secret Servce is now looking for contractors to widen the door jambs for their visit.

I guess we can remove our favorite VP candidate from this forum, turns out she's actually a poet.

I was watching it last night

I happened to have been watching Conan last night when the "poetry" was read. You know, it wasn't bad at all. Unfortunately, the origin of the poem was meant to be a sentence of sorts. I thought the concept of turning the jumble into a poem was quite clever. Maybe Sarah should consider a career change and start to work some of the little, off-beat coffee houses.
