They reported on the news today that the Bank of Wells Fargo is making a 3 billion profit this year. They should have them give all the failing banks classes on bank managing. Of just give them the banks to manage.

A nod and a bow aren't the same. That's why I asked. When I was growing up, believe it or not, boys were taught to bow to their elders but it wasn't from the waist, it was more a deferential nod as the article stated. A more earnest gesture would have been sort of a shoulder tip. So if President Obama bowed from the waist to Queen Elizabeth or any other head of state then that would change the import of the incident in my eyes.

Near Pittsburgh, PA. Girls curtsied and we were taught to speak the Queen's English. Different time, for sure.

And if he hadn't given the okay to shoot the pirates, and the captain was killed - what would you say then? No doubt something equally offensive.

FYI, the negotiations continued right along - weren't you personally informed about that?

Heavy is the hat that wears the crown.

BO Promised to sit down and talk to people , not shoot them while they are boating.

BO gave permission to the AFs to 'do the job' or 'whatever it takes'.

HE just green lights any mission and leaves the planning to the guys in charge.

    ------------

Had the Captain been killed I would have gone ahead and plowed the beach front real estate these emm effers started from. Sorry to say this but they only understand violence, just as we would have been begging Barry to "Do Something" had the Captain been killed.

Enough of the "black hawk down' mentality.

We don't act soon or harshly enough to start the game.

    ---------------

In football you start the game by looking over at the other team, shossing a dance partner, then after the whistle, you go down and hit the idiot as hard as you can.

I can guarantee that he will be on the lookout for you during the rest of the game.

It's time we start playing 'firmly' and let people know that they don't want to mess with us.

    Flip Flop?

So BO wanted to let the guys who 'tortured' confessions out of the terrorist detainees go.

But, he does a little side step a day later and wants the people who wrote the outlines to be on guard. They may be set upon by the government.

    ------------

I saw a very telling piece on the info that BO released about theses torture sessions.

The guest said that there was page after page of details regarding the torture.
But when it came to detailing that some of the info gleaned helped deter the 'second wave' of attacks - one attack set for the city of El Lay- the government chose to black out THAT part of the papers?

I guess Big Brother-insert fist bump here-knows best.

It doesn't matter what opinion the President has on this issue, since
it will be decided by the DOJ. The Attorney General will decide the
ultimate fate of those who were responsible.

If BO doesn't have an opinion, why did he let the docs out?

And why was the info about the attacks edited by the gov't. blacked out?

I guess that would mean that torture can get some info that would help in the 'war on terror'?

If the tactics we used to foil an attack on Lost Angeles worked, I can see where the Guvmint would not want that info put out there.

The AH terrorists do not care about any of the rules or laws that the big governments put into play. This are rogue idiots who do not care, one way or the other.

We have given them the rule book, it's now up to them to see how to bend the rules and play the game that may go in their favor.

God save us and the Queen.

The memos were released after the US gov. lost the Court case filed by
the ACLU under the FOIA. The US was required to release them. And
I did not say that Obama didn't have a opinion, I said Obama's opinion
    didn't matter.
