Dearest Lady, you are lovely, indeed! What a beautiful Persian girl you are! That fur is so luxurious and fluffy, and it looks so very soft. And what a sweet face you have, with that cute little squished-in Persian nose and those lovely HUGE eyes! Thank you for sharing those great photos with us. I wish I could reach through the screen and across the ocean to Kiev in the Ukraine to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved family members will pet you for me .
And what a nice story you have to tell! You came to your family after they'd lost their first beloved Persian seven years ago. We are so sorry he passed away. You have been comforting them greatly since you arrived. (We think maybe their Persian Angel kitty brought you and them together!) You have a delightful personality, and you make them smile with your energy and antics. You love to play with small balls and ropes and ribbons. We're so glad your dear people put the ribbon away after play-time so you don't swallow it and endanger yourself! You are very affectionate but on your own terms. You let your dear people know when you're in the mood for some petting, and then both you and they are happy. You and they all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Lady, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your special young friend and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. We know your family's Persian Angel Kitty and all the other Angels are rejoicing at the Rainbow Bridge!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
