How Spoiled Are Your Dogs? Pics Added Post 18

Dasher is so spoiled! My brother is here working on mom's computer. He popped a bag of popcorn (one of Dasher's most favorite things) so naturally Dasher proceeded to follow him to the computer. I told Dasher to follow me and I'd pop him some. Otherwise, he'd have been stuck to my bro like glue. So, we're having a snack bag now. I don't give him much at all so it's really a treat. He's on the bed with me with his head propped on my knee. He's so cute. I took a pic with my cell that I'll put up later tonight.
On a side note, I told him yesterday that when I woke up, I'd take off his bite not collar to see how he did. I got home this morning and it was already off. I thought mom had removed it. Well, somehow Houdini Dasher got that thing off without undoing anything! I think it was when he slept on his back. Those straps slip off his elbows really easy.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

LOL, too cute. Dasher has you well trained.

I've had very little luck with the bite-not collar. Anvik gets out of it with great ease! It worked better a bit better on Kayleigh.

Dinner time for the dogs is down right embarrasing, I sit in the middle of the couch, casey gets her bowl of kibble to my right, Bubba gets hand fed to my left
don't breed or buy while shelter dogs die....

    I have been frosted!

Not laughing AT you but WITH you. I have been known to feed them some kibble on my bed at night if they look hungry. Yep, the bowl gets put down right on my bed.

Val, I had a standard poodle years ago (Whitney) who would sit so patiently and wait for hubby to offer her little pieces of popcorn. She would sit still as a statue and occasionally a little bit of drool would come out while she waited. Never had a dog drool before, except for her.

I love your stories! Glad to know I'm not the only one. I will admit I've never fed him his kibble in bed Now, he's all stretched out with his head propped on my leg, snoring. I've got one of those memory foam mattress covers to make sure he's extra comfy.

    Pam: that is funny!
    Caseysmom: You're really well trained
Glacier: I guess he'd just decided he had enough. He's been really good about it. I just hope I don't have to use it again as it might not work.

My life (and hubby's) revolves around these dogs. But of course they're not spoiled. Great thread Val.

It was nice of Dasher to save you the trouble of taking the bite not collar off. See he was trying to spoil you by giving you less to do in the morning.

Even though my dogs are always looking for a hand out, there are certain foods which MUST be shared. Popcorn is one of them as well as apples and bananas.

    Spoiled? Ours? Never!

Duke and Bull just get to sleep in the bed with their own pillows. Heaven forbid you have adjust or roll over in bed with Bull, he'll groan and grumble forever afterwards.

Same here. Buddy's favorite was popcorn. Both Smokey & Maggie's is
Ritz crackers. They love them as a night time snack before bed.
