Dear friends in rescue,
I know I am making you crazy with my pleas for Shelbyville, but, like all shelters, they are desperate to move animals. We are moving a lot of animals this weekend, however, 5 dogs were left behind and they are rapidly becoming urgent. I just spoke to James. Lucy and Opal have been at the shelter since January and he can no longer keep them indefinitely. If he does not have a definite interest in them by the end of this weekend, he will be setting a day to have to put them down. He does not want to do this, but, he can’t keep holding on to them. Max and Shelby are right there too. So, right now 4 dogs have until this weekend to be spoken for. I’m pleading. Amelia has also been there too long. Her time limit will be decided this weekend too. PLEASE HELP THESE BABIES!!! I hope you will consider these needy souls. Please don’t wait for someone else to speak for them. I would much rather have too many rescues for them than none.

Here are the links to the individual babies who HAVE to be spoken for this weekend:
Opal (Border Collie/Lab mix): http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/dis...petid=10011802
Lucy (Border Collie/Lab mix): http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/dis...petid=10011853
Max and Shelby (Heeler mixes): These two, according to James, have the Heeler coloring, you just can’t tell by the picture: http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/dis...petid=10166345
Amelia (high Akita mix): http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/dis...petid=10204321
I am also asking my rescue friends to consider Pringle. He looks exactly like my dog Tigger that we lost on December 14. I would love him to go to someone that I know so I can follow his progress. I would take him tomorrow if I could, but, I’m over my limit of dogs and have mine grandfathered.

Thank you for your consideration and please let James know ASAP if you can help. The shelter email is [email protected] and the shelter phone is 502-633-0009.
